It is interesting to me how paths cross. My dad was a WWII veteran in the marine corp and served on the battle of okinawa.
After the war, he joined the USAF and we move quite a bit. He was stationed at Charleston AFB for 8 years (I was there from 4-12 years old).
Then I joined the Air Force and was stationed in Crete as a 292X2. I met my wife there (tourist from North Dakota) and afer 41 years of marriange we have 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
I was also stationed at Keesler (diddy bop school) and Goodfellow (non morse training).
I am sure your dad and me (and my dad) crossed paths.
