Stationed at Lackland, Keesler, Goodfellow, Corry Field, NSA, and Elmendorf between 63 and 65. Early out when rotated back to the states. Honorable Discharge, Maelstrom AFB. Have contact with a few, but looking for others, particularly Sgt Woody Woodworth who was stationed at Elmendorf in 64 & 65. Any help appreciated.

Was stationed at the 6981st in 64 &65. Some of the names I recall were, Major Applegate, Squadron Commander, and Sgt. Griner, Squadron 1st Sgt. Worked with a Master Sgt Hampton, Staff Sgt Woody Woodworth, Tech Sgt Wargo, and a couple of ditty bops, Sgt Cooper and Sgt Griffin. Cooper, Griffin, and Hampton formed a bluegrass band, the Chugach Mountain Boys. Does that strike a chord with anyone? Am looking for Sgt. Woodworth in particular.

Tried to post this earlier, but it didn't appear. I knew your father pretty well. I worked under him and SSgt. Imperial in the MSD section. Your father was someone who did his job well, without all the military stuffiness. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always seemed to be on the go (though I have an image of him getting "stressed" when "hot" items came up). He was fair to all and was a great influence on the younger guys like me. You should be very proud of your father.

I certainly remember your father. I was in Alaska at the 6981st from 1968-70. I worked on Dog Flight and lived in the barracks. Your father was my immediate supervisor for a time along with SSGT. Imperial. Your father, as I remember him, was just a regular guy, more concerned with doing the job than with all the military stuffiness. He was easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor. My memory is that he was always in motion. He was a good influence on all the young guys. You should be very proud of him.

Was stationed at Elmendorf from 67-70. Can't say I remember your dad, but I have slept since then. Could be we were on different flights. I was on Baker Flight.
