I was stationed at CFK from 1965-1967 with the 31st Medical Group – have some great memories of my time spent there. I have forgotten a lot of the names but still remember the faces. I do remember David Hall, Denis Sweeney, Jackie Coker, Bob Sovereign, Jim Moore, ? Sloan, ? Roberts, ? Woodburn, ? Rosa, Rosa, Sgt. Major Jake Roberts, Colonel Edwards, Lt. Thompson, Sgt. I lived in Darmstadt/Eberstadt as a military wife just off the base whose hubby was stationed there in 1960-1961. Met Gale & Tracy Dale, babysat for their son Shawn, they were from CA, he was USAF, a Wanda Richardson and Audrey & Tillis Ross both Army. Would love to hear from them

Stationed at CFK 2/67 to 2/69 as a USAFSS 292×1 Baker trick. Still friends with the German family I rented from when I lived “on the economy”. Went by CFK recently when in Germany. The whole Darmstadt US military establishment has been shut down. CFK is empty and gates chained and padlocked shut. NCO club gate also chained shut. Church outside rear gate closed. For those sent to CFK instead of the Vietnam bush it is a sad ending for a place that provided so many memories…Bob DE

I was stationed at the 6911th from Jan 59 to Jan 61 as an IBM Machine Repairman. As I recall, we lived at CFK and were bussed to and from Operations at shift changes. Roger (Tiny) Bates was a good friend and fellow repairman there. When they closed down the machine room in Jan 61, Roger went to Scotland and I went to Chicksands.
